Important Notice Regarding the Name Change of Tsudanuma Financial Center

Due to the relocation of the SBI Shinsei Bank Tsudanuma Financial Center, the branch name has been changed to "Funabashi Financial Center" from March 3, 2025.

  • There are no changes to your cash card, branch number, or account number, so you can continue to use them as usual.
  • If you use your account for salary deposits or incoming transfers, please request the sender (your employer or remitter(s)) to use the new branch name "Funabashi Branch (フナバシ)" for transfers starting from March 3, 2025.
  • Customers using their accounts for utility payments, taxes, credit card payments, and other automatic withdrawals do not need to take any action. Withdrawals will continue from your existing account.
  • For new automatic withdrawal applications after March 3, 2025, please use the new branch name.

    - Transfers and remittances specifying 'Tsudanuma Branch' from other financial institutions will be accepted until Friday, May 30, 2025. However, funds received after that date will not be accepted. Please make the necessary changes as soon as possible.

    - If you have registered an account with the 'Tsudanuma Branch' on PowerDirect (Internet Banking) or the SBI Shinsei Bank app's 'Registered Beneficiary Accounts,' this information will be valid until May 30, 2025. After that date, the registration details will be deleted. Please make the necessary changes accordingly.

    - When making a transfer using PowerDirect (Internet Banking), if you select our bank and search for the branch using branch number '430', both 'Tsudanuma Branch' and 'Funabashi Branch' will be displayed. Please make sure to select "Funabashi Branch".

  • You will be required to provide the name and address of the branch when you receive funds from overseas or receive foreign currencies from domestic financial institutions.
