ATM, Online banking, and Call Center Services Unavailable
Due to the transition to a new system,all services provided online, via call center and at ATMs will be totally unavailable during this period.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Main Services Unavailable
- ATM services (deposits, withdrawals, and balance inquiries) at any ATM and J-Debit services
- Online banking services, i.e. All services available on Shinsei PowerDirect and all its related apps
Customers will not be able to access PowerDirect via PC, smartphone, and smartphone authentication. - Call center services, i.e. All services provided by phone such as inquiries, transactions, etc.
Only reports on cash card loss and financial crime will be received during the suspension period. - Online application for direct debit payments
Important Points to Note
ATM services at any ATMs
Customers will not be able to use their PowerFlex cash cards at any ATM including convenience store ATMs. Please withdraw necessary cash before the service suspension.
Shinsei PowerCall (call center): All services provided by our call center such as inquiries, transactions, etc.
Our call center, Shinsei PowerCall, will not be able to receive inquiries, requests, transactions, etc. during the suspension period. However, we willcontinue to receive reports on the loss or theft of a cash card or financial crime 24 hours a day, 365 days a year toll-free at 0120-456-022.
Foreign currency transactions
Foreign currency transactions such as foreign currency exchange, initiating foreign-currency time deposits, etc. will not be made at any channel. Even if foreign exchange rates should fluctuate at overseas markets, customers will not be able to make foreign exchange transactions. Foreign exchange rates provided on our website will not be updated either.
GAICA Flex Prepaid Card: Application and Loading/Unloading money
Applications for GAICA Flex Prepaid Card ("GAICA Flex") will not be available during the suspension period. Loading/Unloading money onto/from GAICA Flex via Shinsei PowerFlex accounts will not be available either. Customers who are planning to use their GAICA Flex will be requested to load necessary money before service suspension.

After 9 p.m., our call center will receive the following only: reports on a lost card or a financial crime, requests for unlocking an account for online banking, and inquiries about how to use online banking.
From 12 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, reports on a card loss or a financial crime will only be received.

- Which transaction of ATM services will become unavailable?

- Can I log into Shinsei PowerDirect to bank online?

Customers are not able to log into Shinsei PowerDirect during the suspension period.
- Can I reload or unload my GAICA Flex Prepaid Card?

During the suspension period, services of reloading and unloading money via PowerFlex accounts will not be available, and the AutoReload service and the Monthly AutoReload service will not be available either. Customers who are planning to use their GAICA Prepaid Card are requested to reload necessary money beforehand.
- Is there anything I need to do when the Bank system has been upgraded to a new system?

Fraudulent activities have been reported nationwide. Fraudsters representing themselves as a policeperson or a banker try to obtain account number and PIN by phone and withdraw money online or with a forged card.
Shinsei Bank will never ask you to provide confidential information such as your account number, PIN, etc. and will never visit you to receive your cash card.
